Bruised Reeds - Bible Study Series
"A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out." -- Matthew 12:20, Isaiah 42:3
We all have times when we feel weak or faithless. We all have times when we are weak or faithless. We can be "walking wounded," unwilling to step out in faith, seeing obstacles more clearly than we see God. It's great to know that God is gentle, and he wants to heal and strengthen us, making our Christianity satisfying, meaningful, and better than the best it has ever been. In this class we will be strengthened and encouraged while we strengthen and encourage others. Whether you feel weak, strong, or a bit of both, join us and grow.
At Just the Right Time
A great coach named Lombardi once said, “Winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing. An all-time thing.” His words transcended football, it seems. There are grander themes of victories on many larger playing fields, of life and circumstances. Of every clinching moment when the odds are long, and time is short.
