Unsung Heroes of the Caribbean

In the Caribbean, we are blessed with warm sunshine, beautiful beaches and serene mountainsides, and our people reflect those qualities. At church, the fellowship is vibrant and the saints enjoy each others company as we share God's word with passion and love. These blessings sometimes over shadow the daily challenges we face as we strive to help grow God's church. There maybe many things we are not priviledged to have, but without a doubt, we have experienced God's favor through brothers and sisters who constantly keep the Caribbean close to their hearts.

Curt and Patty Simmons were recently appointed to lead the Chicago Ministry Center of the Chicago Church of Christ. Curt and Patty have over 20 years ministry experience, but have been out of the full-time ministry since 2004 while Curt dealt with serious medical challenges.

Southeast US Leaders Retreat Held In North Carolina

The Southeast Leaders Retreat for International Churches of Christ in the Carolinas, Georgia and the Mid-South was held June 13-15 at Ridgecrest Conference Center in Black Mountain, North Carolina. With the theme, "Pass it On." Sunday night featured an an extended period of fellowship, followed by a time of worship and prayer, and then news from around the Southeast. Steve May Returns to be with the Lord

Our dear brother Steve May passed away July 6, 2010 at approximately 2:00 a.m. from pancreatic cancer. Kelly, Steve’s wife of nearly 20 years, was by his side when he peacefully went to be with our Lord.

Jesse's Tourettes Miracle Story in the News

“Can I please get that surgery? Please!” It was Saturday night, December 5, 2009 in Missoula, Montana. The urgent plea was coming from our 6 foot, 220 pound, 17 year old son. Jesse, who was in extreme pain with tourettes' tics and muscle spasms is now nearly symptom free.

Violence in Kingston

By now many of you would have heard about the eruption of violence that has occurred Kingston, the capital city of Jamaica. Police stations have been burned, police officers have been killed, and at least 73 civilians died in relation to a police and military operation in a small garrison (politically controlled) community called Tivoli Gardens in West Kingston.
