Contentment as a Single Woman

There are times in my life when my “singleness” overwhelms me. I can often feel that I am ready to settle down and get married. The “white picket fence” is in sight. This realization sometimes serves as a catalyst in the battle for contentment and purity that we single women can face. A relationship can seems like the only solution to the feeling of discontent. While elusive the thought of it can create an air of fulfilment.

The Valley of the Shadow of Death

Peggy Malutinok’s attitude toward life inspires me. Peggy’s life changed overnight two years ago. Her son Scott had a motorcycle accident that left him in a coma for weeks. He suffered severe brain damage. The Scott Peggy had known and raised was no longer there. She has a different son in the same body. He is still strong, spiritual and fun-loving--but he is a very different young man than he was before the accident.
