2012 is the 20th anniversary of the Amsterdam Church of Christ and God blessed us in the celebrations!
The festivities started at the beginning of the summer with a jubilee service in July.
Our small group of 36 members celebrated together rejoicing, singing, worshipping, and bringing glory to God!
The Lord has worked in our congregation over twenty years now. With children and many visitors there were more than 70 people at the service.
The service was followed by a big barbecue together and then the highlight of the day, the baptism of our new sister in Christ - Corine!
But the summer was only starting to warm up!
Two weeks later a new brother was also added to the family when Arjan was baptised. By August it was cooking when Stian, one of our teen boys was baptised.
It boiled over in September when another teen boy, Timothy was baptised.
God is doing great things here in Amsterdam and we are looking forward to seeing what will follow in the future! Please keep us in your prayers.
