Colombian Singles Ministry Requests Prayers to Handle all the Studies

Queridos hermanos -
Es para nosotros una gran alegría compartirles que con motivo de la primera conferencia de solteros del año cuyo nombre fue "ATREVETE A VIVIR" tuvimos una celebración muy especial.

Recibimos la visita de Javier Amaya ( LA California) desde el 25 al 28 de abril , el primer día en la noche tuvimos una cena de agradecimiento con el grupo de liderazgo de solteros y Javier donde nos divertimos mucho y sentimos la hermandad de la familia de Dios. El sábado en la mañana tuvimos una espectacular clase para los discípulos solteros dirigida por Javier quien nos llamó a Atrevernos a vivir con Cristo para Siempre con un Compromiso, Fidelidad y Crecimiento para Siempre como discípulos.
Disfrutamos de un almuerzo donde varios hermanos solteros pudieron compartir tiempo y experiencias con Javier y miles de preguntas.
De 5 a 8 p.m. se llevo a cabo la conferencia ATREVETE A VIVIR que contó con la participación de los hermanos del ministerio de casados sirviendo como edecanes y en la repartición del refrigerio, además de esto la financiación de la misma se hizo con las donaciones y regalos hechos por varios discípulos del ministerio de solteros y casados. Dios mostró tanto amor en la congregación que estamos conmovidos, inicialmente nos donaron 270 refrigerios pero la asistencia aproximada fue de 500 personas por lo cual la administración de la iglesia nos donó los faltantes, en lo cual vimos una vez mas la mano de Dios respaldándonos. Hubo café al inicio, un video, una canción compuesta por un hermano artista especial para la conferencia, un baile de salsa, testimonios de un par de hermanos solteros fieles y exitosos en sus carreras y la inspiradora clase de Javier ATREVETE A VIVIR.
Al final de la clase regalamos unos libros también donados por CSA press a 4 personas que se Atrevieron a Subir a la tarima y compartir lo que aprendieron, fue espectacular. También dimos una tarjeta de contacto la cual diligenciaron los asistentes y se obtuvieron 181 de las cuales 115 personas (79 mujeres y 36 hombres) desean estudiar la Biblia. Por lo anterior pedimos sus oraciones para que tanto trabajo lo podamos realizar y ojala todos puedan ser bautizados en el nombre de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

A great happiness is for us to share with you the occasion of the singles' first conference of the year - DARE TO LIVE " we had a very special celebration.
We received Javier Amaya's visit (LA California) from 25 on April 28. The first day we had a dinner of gratefulness with the group of leaders of bachelors with Javier. We enjoyed ourselves very much and felt the brotherhood of the God's family. On Saturday in the morning we had a spectacular class for the single disciples directed by Javier who called us to "daring to live with Christ forever" with a Commitment, Loyalty and Growth forever as disciples.

We enjoyed a luncheon where several single brothers could share time and experiences with Javier and thousands of questions.

From 5 to 8 pm we finished out the conference DARE TO LIVE. It had the participation of the brothers of the ministry of married serving like ushers and in the distribution of the refreshment, besides this the funding of the same one was done by the donations and gifts done by several disciples of the ministery of bachelors and married. God showed so much love in the congregation that we are moved in our hearts, initially they donated 270 refreshments but the approximate attendance was 500! The church gave us the extra help we needed, in which we saw once again God's hand supporting us.

There was coffee(café) to the beginning, a video, a song composed by a brother -- a special artist for the conference, a dance of SALSA, testimonies of a couple of single faithful and successful brothers in their careers and Javier's inspiring class DARE TO LIVE.

At the end of the class we gave a few books also donated by CSA press to 4 persons who Dared To Rise to the challenge and to share what they learned. It was spectacular. Also we gave out contact cards to all which the assistants sorted. There were 181 cards of which 115 persons (79 women and 36 men) wanted to study the Bible. For the previous thing we ask for your prayers in order that so much work we it could realize and we hope that they all could be baptized in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
