I received some amazing news last night. This mom (pictured on the far right) came out this past February to the HOPE worldwide Community Service Brigade in Guatemala.
We started talking while she was at the fluoride station with her three beautiful children. She told me that she had no husband. It was heartbreaking to think about these kids, one a newborn, without a dad in their life and a single mom without the church to help her or a relationship with God to save her. So, we asked her if she had ever come to church and she said “no.” Then the very next day she visited the church. It was so exciting to see her and family. Later that day she set up a Bible study with Aby, a great sister in Christ.
Last night I received the news in an amazing email…this young mom was baptized!
God, thank you for the incredible church in Guatemala and for the Kotkowski's hard work in organizing these brigades that are bearing fruit in so many ways!
