Dear friends in the Lord,
I'm excited to announce the good news that today, the day of Theophany/Epiphany in Greece, my dear friend and neighbor Spiros Koulos has been baptized in the cold Mediterranean sea, in a day of snow, but also of sun and joy! We celebrate with all of you who have us in your hearts and prayers, along with the legions of angels who rejoice for the one lost soul that was found!
Spiros is a Greek guy who has been visiting the church the past seven years. He is married to a Cameroonian woman, Mando, who has been visiting on and off as well. He has one beautiful and very bright girl (Andonia). He loves knowledge and reading, communication, fellowship, hiking, and travels, and he is a very easy-going and relatable guy to be around.
We are delighted to have a guy like him among us as he can be a great and very helpful asset to God's work here.
We continue to seek your prayers for us spiritually, in our marriages, direction, and discipling. We are in need of all kinds of support, so we plead with you that you do not cease to pray for every one of us and our marriages in 2015. We will keep you updated for all our news.
PS: In the bottom photo you also see Stavroula, our pillar in the church with one of her three sons, Giorgo, and Mayar, a very humble and giving Iranian brother in Christ, who was baptised in the mainline Church of Christ two years ago, but who has started worshiping with us the past three months.
Love in the Lord,
Theo & Meri
