The Bible talk lead by Leif and Jolene Langnes is truly an expression of this scripture.
Leif and Jolene started their married family group with three couples. Their conviction was to create a spiritual family where each person felt loved, accepted and valued. They also believe in having fun. They love to have parties and are renown for their joyful and encouraging spirits.
In the last 18 months their group of six has grown to 28 adults. God has blessed this group with 5 teen baptisms, 2 adult baptisms and 1 couple returning to the fellowship. Two other disciples who were wavering in their faith have now found a group to call home. Three of their friends are currently studying the bible and are on their journey to becoming true and faithful disciples of Christ.
There is no “I” in group and this small body of believers is as diverse as they come. Their differences are plain to see, but their devotion to God and to each other has bonded them together. They consistently have fun and reach out to the lost. There is a consistent focus on building each other up and speaking the truth in love. Leif and Jolene believe it is important to step out of the box, enjoy the moment and allow God to work. We are excited to see what God has in store for their future!
