Fourteen months ago I was diagnosed with an advanced stage of ovarian cancer. It came as a huge shock; there was no history in my family. I questioned the diagnosis, thinking it must be something else and eventually I questioned God. When I found out how few survived the disease, I became extremely fearful. In the middle of my kitchen looking at the white walls and kitchen cabinets, I begged God to explain why this random act happened to me.
