Is Adoption For Me?
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will (Ephesians 1:4-5, NIV)
Adoption is about the heart of God. God had His own son – Jesus – yet he chose to adopt us as well. God did not have to – He chose to! We may choose to adopt; it is a choice, and a hard one indeed! The question is: Is adoption for me?
