Chronological Bible 9: The Monarchy

This section of scripture describes how Israel moved from being ruled by judges to being a monarchy. Even though the first king (Saul) doesn’t prove to be much in the way of character, nevertheless, he brings about God’s will in the unification of the Kingdom. Samuel here records the details of the first selection process and tells about the role that he himself plays. I’ve also included specific notes on ARROGANCE and REBELLION, as well as some notes especially for EMPLOYEE/EMPLOYER RELATIONS. (three days of reading)
