The HOPE worldwide team in Malaysia is happy to announce the launch of a second free clinic in Penang. This clinic will not only be free but will also be mobile. Last year the team raised funds through a local concert to make this new mobile clinic a reality.

Hooda is 13 years old and comes from a remote rural village in Papua New Guinea (PNG). While he was temporarily residing in the capital city of Port Moresby, he developed a cough and began to lose weight. He came to HOPE worldwide’s Nine Mile Clinic for help.

Haiti First-Hand: True Suffering

I traveled to Haiti with the Community Coalition for Haiti (CCH), which has been doing humanitarian work there for around the past twenty years. We were the fourth team CCH had sent down for medical relief since the earthquake.

More and More Shelter from the Storm

Malaria, dengue, encephalitis, and other diseases are coming. Cholera, typhoid, dysentery, and other diseases are coming. The rainy season is coming.

All these plagues will soon fall on a million young children and families living out in the open in Haiti.

Jesus ministry was to seek, save and heal. As his disciples, we look for ways to follow in his steps. The HOPE worldwide and Benevolence Service Team of the International Churches of Christ report here on the closer working relationship of HOPE worldwide and our churches around the world. Because of this partnership, in the recent Haiti disaster, relief teams were on the scene within days and there are clear plans to use the $500,000 donated to help disciples and the community.
