Bringing the Holiday Spirit to the Homeless
HOPE worldwide volunteer Sharon Anderson is taking her holiday spirit to the homeless.
Sharon created the Homeless Partners Wish List Program in Las Vegas. Through this program, homeless men and women make Christmas Wish Lists of whatever essentials they need and then people can make donations online to make those wishes come true.
Li Mei's Dream
Wang Li Mei and her parents went to the city of Kunming in search of a better life. Because they lacked education and good health, they ended up shining shoes to survive. Li Mei started attending a school for the children of migrant workers.
In 2008, Li Mei received sponsorship to help her continue her education, had a health check-up, and participated in HOPE worldwide's character training classes on Saturdays. We all have dreams.

U.S. Chapters Recognized at Think Tank
On December 5, 2009, Chapter Directors from across North America gathered in Philadelphia with the purpose of inspiring and collaborating to change the cities they serve. The day started with songs of praise and a devotional from Robert Carrillo, Evangelist and Chapter Director of the San Diego Mission Chapter, entitled "Summon The Heroes," – the theme for this event.

The fundraising for the Global AIDS Program of HOPE worldwide in Africa has been a great success. We have received enough funding from churches and individuals across the U.S. to continue the headquarters and regional officework of Drs. Mark Ottenweller and Marc Aguirre into Spring 2010 to develop new partners and raise crucial funding to support 30,000 orphans and children affected by AIDS across Africa.
Citi Success Fund 2009 Awards and Fun Fair
We are proud to announce that the Citi Success Fund 2009 Award Ceremony and Fun Fair Day was Saturday, November 21 at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza, Tsim Sai Tsui.
More than 30 schools and youth service organizations shared their creative ideas through game booths, performances and display boards.
Valentina's Story
HOPE worldwide Russia's Fellowship Club for the elderly, the “Old Friends’ Home” has been running for eight years already. The Club’s members meet twice a week, have tea, fellowship and celebrate holidays together. They also receive charitable donations in the form of groceries each month.
New Center of HOPE Ushers in Season of Service
After opening on October 10, the newest Center of HOPE in San Diego is already gearing up for the Season of Service. Our annual Season of Service includes September 11th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, MLK Day and National Volunteer week as focused days of service.
Kenya Video Game Teaches HIV/AIDS Prevention
"Pamoja Mtaani", Swahili for "Together in the Hood," is a video game developed by Warner Bros Entertainment in partnership with the US President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) that puts players in real situations where they have to avoid risks of HIV infection.
