One New Sister...And Now We Have Eight Sisters!

India is indeed a very big country.

It has thirty five different states and union territories, most of them with a different language, for a total population of 1.2 billion people.

A very unique part of the country is the North East of India. It comprises eight states, nicknamed “Eight Sisters ”. The people who live there are ethnically Mongolian so they look different from the rest of the population of India.

A lot of students from that part of the country come to the capital, New Delhi, for their studies. Our dream here in Delhi was to reach out and baptize someone from each of the eight states.

Last Sunday that dream was turned into a reality as Princess, a young lady from the state of Meghalaya became a Christian. Now all eight states are represented in the Delhi church!

We have a church in one of the states, Assam, but seven other states are still waiting for a church planting. The young people in the Delhi church are eagerly planning to go back to their home states and evangelize their friends and families, as well as the millions there who do not know God.
